Clifton Springs Coastal Management Plan
The City of Greater Geelong has now adopted the Clifton Springs Coastal Management Plan. The development of the new coastal management plan deals with the protection of the Clifton Springs foreshore environment and provides clear direction for the future use of the coast.
The study area extends from McDermott Road in the west to McAdams Lane in the east, and includes the publicly owned land along the foreshore. Clifton Springs foreshore is characterised by steep eroding cliffs which are of state and regional geomorphological significance.
