The City of Greater Geelong Family Day Care service (FDC) is an accredited and approved Australian Government home based child care service providing care in the homes of registered Care Providers to children from birth to the end of Year 6.

| Registration is dependant on: |
- meeting the selection criteria, and
- ability to meet the demand for care (hours/days available).
- must be able to care for a minimum of 2 children, not including own children
- availability to provide care for
