BISA support children with additional needs, such as those with a significant delay in physical, communication/language, cognitive, social or emotional development. These include children who:

• Are undergoing diagnosis
• Are from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds
• Are from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander backgrounds

Eligible Commonwealth funded Children's Services receive Child Care Assistance, they include:

• Long Day Care Centres
• Family Day Care
• Before and After School Care Programs
• School Holiday Programs
