The City of Greater Geelong is located approximately 75 kilometres south west of the central business district of
Melbourne. It is Victoria's largest regional city and Australia's eleventh largest urban centre, covering a geographic
area of 1,240 square kilometres. The residential population of the area is 200,067 with 16,876 children aged 0-6
years. AEDI data were collected across the entire area. The leadership and coordination for the AEDI Project was
undertaken by the Greater Geelong City Council. The following table provides summary information about the
