Animal Registration Door Knocks commence soon.

The City conducts random door knocks to check for unregistered dogs and cats throughout the municipality.

If your dog or cat is not registered, you risk an on-the-spot fine.  Cats and dogs older than three months must be registered with the City.

All registered animals receive an individual tag and their details are recorded at the City so they can be identified if found stray or hurt.

By registering your dog or cat you are giving your pet its best chance of being returned home safely if it is ever lost.
