THE AIM OF FOOD SERVICES
To maintain and enhance an individual's health and well being through the provision of delivered meals to people assessed as nutritionally at risk and to prevent inappropriate admittance to long term residential care.
Meals are delivered to a client's home by a registered volunteer or are available at limited Senior Citizens Centres across the City of Greater Geelong. Meals provided include juice, soup, main course, and desert.
DIETARY NEEDS
The service caters to a wide variety of dietary requirements including low sodium, low fat, gluten free, diabetic, and vitamised. Unfortunately meals do not cater for ‘dislikes' however we are able to meet the needs of clients who have certified food allergies.
YOUR HOME - OUR EMPLOYEES WORKPLACE
Under the Occupational Health and Safety Act, the home where the care of a client is provided is a workplace. It is the responsibility of the occupier of the home to provide, as far as reasonable, a safe working environment for workers coming into their home.

Our staff are caring, professional personnel, trained to identify your requirements and to also recognise when you may require a change in your service provision.
REVIEW OF SERVICES AND NEED
An important part of our service provision is reviewing the services provided and your needs. We commit to periodically re-evaluating your services and to ensuring that the services provided are appropriate to your needs. Service reviews will be discussed at the time of assessment.
