Geelong to formalise friendship with Viqueque
City of Greater Geelong Deputy Mayor Linda Ristevski said a Draft Memorandum of Understanding would be sent to an East Timor Government official in East Timor in a move aimed at formalising the friendship relationship between Viqueque and Geelong.

Barwon Heads Traffic Study
Following the recommendation in the Barwon Heads Traffic and Parking Study Council has decided not to proceed with the closure of Seaview Avenue in Barwon Heads as was trialed during the 2000/01 summer period.

Mayor urges road users to take care over Easter
In the lead up to Easter Geelong Mayor Cr Ed Coppe urged all road users within the City of Greater Geelong to take care and continue a trend which has seen a decrease in injury accidents this year, and more significantly, no fatalities since the end of November 2003.
