Skandia Geelong Week has now officially established itself as Australia's largest Keel Boat Regatta. The event was first held in 1844 and is claimed to be the oldest sporting event in Victoria. The annual Regatta is part of Victoria's maritime history and now attracts competitors and visitors from both within Australia and internationally.

Widely regarded as the Cowes Week of the Southern Hemisphere, the event attracts over 400 yachts and 4,000 competitiors who race in the waters of Corio Bay around Melbourne and Geelong.

Skandia Geelong Week is a Hallmark Geelong event, proudly supported by Geelong Major Events.
