Council to contribute $6M towards Simonds Stadium stage four redevelopment

The City of Greater Geelong has agreed, in principle, to provide up to $6 million towards the stage four redevelopment of Simonds Stadium on the condition that the State Government assumes management and operations of the stadium and Kardinia Park and absolves council of any ongoing financial contributions.

Plan for Little Malop Street Bridge and pocket park

The Little Malop Street pedestrian and cycling bridge is set to be revitalised and a new public space created in a plan developed by the Central Geelong Task Force.
