Official real estate agent announced for short term rentals during UCI Road World Championships

Falcon Rentals has been announced as the official real estate agent for short term rentals during the 2010 UCI Road World Championships.
If you’re not going to be in Geelong during this major cycling event then you could rent your house out to visiting spectators.

“This is a great option for local people who wont be in town but want to capitalise on this major cycling event,” Mayor Cr John Mitchell said.
“If you want to make the most of an empty house that is on or close to the course then renting it out for the week is a fantastic opportunity.”
“The Road World Championships is the sort of event that attracts huge crowds who are keen to watch to the race from the best vantage point,” Cr Mitchell said.
“This event will be like nothing Geelong’s ever seen. It’s the first time the championships have been held outside of the northern hemisphere and we’re expecting thousands of international visitors.”

Cr Mitchell said with just three months to go local accommodation was filling fast.
“There’s still accommodation available at local hotels, backpackers and B and Bs. If you have visitors coming for the race that haven’t already organised accommodation, tell them to book now,” he said.
