Early mosquito-control treatments are paying dividends
City of Greater Geelong Councillor John Doull said that early-season mosquito control treatments – involving the aerial treatment of large wetland breeding sites - had resulted in significantly reduced mosquito numbers.

Carols by Candlelight free parking at Civic Centre in Gheringhap Street
City of Greater Geelong Mayor John Mitchell said Geelong’s annual Carols by Candlelight in Johnstone Park was a great event, and the City was happy to be providing free parking at the Civic Centre Car Park in Gheringhap Street (entry off Tolmie Place) until midnight.

Wool Museum Celebrates 20 Years

Bus survey, Central Geelong
